Here's a recent YouTube video, where the owner of 2020 Mahindra Thar reviews the SUV after driving it around 2,000 kms.

A few months back, Mahindra & Mahindra launched the new-gen Thar in the Indian market. The 2020 model of the SUV got popular among the buyers for its modern looks, feature-loaded cabin and off-road capabilities. Because of its high demand in the Indian market, the automaker has plans to ramp-up the production of SUV by 50 per cent from next month. Here’s a recent video, where the owner of the all-new Mahindra off-roader shares his experience after completing 2,000 kms in it.

This video has been uploaded by a YouTube channel named as Jeeper Itty. The owner of this 2020 Mahindra Thar is Mr Kurian Kurian Kalarickal, and he is an experienced off-roader. He has also participated in many off-road events. He already owns a heavily customized first-gen Thar, which is mainly used for competitions. He bought the LX soft-top diesel automatic variant of the new-gen Thar. The only reason that why he didn’t go for the petrol version was that it has a longer waiting period. He is quite impressed for the all-new model of the SUV. After he bought the car, he made some subtle tweaks. He changed the stock tyres BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres and the front grille have also been replaced by an aftermarket unit.

The SUV also employs several genuine Mahindra Thar accessories. The owner of the 2020 Mahindra SUV is a big Jeep lover and has sold his VW Polo TSI to buy the off-roader. He says that the steering feedback is quite amazing. He is also quite impressed by the engine refinement levels of the car and says that the automatic version of the SUV is far better than the diesel manual version. Talking about the 2020 Mahindra Thar, it derives power from a petrol and diesel engine, which comes coupled to a manual or an automatic gearbox. It is offered at a starting price of Rs 9.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim.
