Here are top seven features, which will be offered with the upcoming Kia Sonet, but are not offered with the ongoing Nexon facelift.

Kia Motors India has recently revealed its upcoming sub-4-meter SUV Sonet in India. The car is slated to launch in our market in the coming days. Once launched, it’ll rival with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. The SUV is also expected to employ many segment-first features. But, the upcoming Kia SUV will have to face very strong competition in its segment. One of the most popular cars in the sub-4-meter SUV segment is the Tata Nexon. The car has scored 5-star rating at the Global NCAP crash test. So, here are seven features, which will be offered with the all-new Kia Sonet, but are not offered with the 2020 Nexon facelift.

1) Internet-Connected Car Technology

The all-new Kia Sonet will feature the company’s UVO connected technology, which will offer a lot of remote operation features. With the help of your smartphone, you can switch on/off the engine, AC and headlamps. 

2) iMT Transmission

The all-new Kia Sonet will also employ clutchless manual transmission. Right now, this gearbox option is only offered with Hyundai Venue. Tata Nexon is offered with a manual and an automatic gearbox.

3) Six Airbags

Undoubtedly, Tata Nexon is the safest car in its segment but is offered with dual front airbags. The safety rating of the car would have been better if there would have been curtain and side airbags on offer. The top-spec trim of Kia Sonet will be offered with six airbags. 

4) Wireless Charging

The top-of-the-line trim of Sonet will be offered with wireless charging pad as standard. This feature is not offered with the Tata SUV.

5) Automatic Air Purifier

Right now, this feature is among the most important feature due to the current situation. The top-spec trim of Kia Sonet will get an automatic air purifier. In this segment, only Hyundai Venue is offered with this feature. 

6) Ventilated Seats

The top-spec variant will sport ventilated seat feature, which is very useful for a hot country like India.

7) Front Parking Sensors

The all-new Kia Sonet will also feature front parking sensors, which is not a segment-first feature. This feature is also offered with Mahindra XUV300.
