The Kia Seltos has been a very successful product for the Korean automaker. It hasn't even been on sale for 2 years and has become a common sight already. Check out these neat mods that make the Kia Seltos stand out.

The Kia Seltos was the first product to be launched in the Indian market in 2019 after being showcased at the 2018 Indian AutoExpo. The mid-size SUV quickly became a best seller in the segment with its combination of feature-loaded trims, eye-catching design, and an attractive price range. It has already sold over a lakh units in the 18 months or so since it was launched. The Seltos competes against its sibling the Hyundai Creta and the recently updated MG Hector is rapidly growing and competitive segment. Today we have these two Seltos SUVs in HTE and HTX variants that get some aftermarket accessories.

The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on YouTube and it shows all the modifications that these two Kia Seltos SUVs go through. On the exterior, both the HTE and HTX variants of the seltos gets a new carbon-fibre finish lip spoiler while the HTE version also gets chrome garnishing on the front. The stock fog lamps have been replaced with aftermarket ice cube-shaped LED units. Coming to the side, the Seltos HTE gets new rain visors along with chrome garnish on the window line and door handles. The windows themselves now get strong UV resistant film. The HTE also gets chrome garnish on the boot and both variants get an aftermarket diffuser with red highlights. Over to the interior, the HTE gets a new aftermarket 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system covered in a glossy trim like the top variants. The HTE also gets a new aftermarket reversing camera which sends its feed directly to the new infotainment screen. The Seltos HTX on the interior gets new aftermarket floor mats with a mesh design and gets the same strong UV resistant window film but other than that the inside is kept largely stock. Overall, the modifications are not the most drastic but it does make both the Seltos SUVs stand out in a crowd.

The Kia Seltos has two main branches of trim levels – Tech Line and GT Line. It is available with 3 engine choices of two petrol and one diesel. The petrol 1.5-litre 4 cylinder produces 113PS/144 Nm of peak power and torque figures and can be paired with a manual or IVT transmission while the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol makes 140 PS/242 Nm max power and torque which comes mated with a manual or a 7-speed DCT. The 1.5-litre turbo-diesel churns out power and torque figures 113 PS/250 Nm respectively and you have the option of either a manual or an auto transmission.

Prices for the Kia Seltos range from Rs 9.89 lakh for the base HTE G trim and goes up to Rs 17.34 for the loaded GTX+. All prices are ex-showroom, respectively.
