Here’s a Mahindra XUV500, which has been fully blacked-out from outside and it looks quite striking. 

Mahindra XUV500 is among the popularly known 7-seater SUVs offered by the carmaker in the Indian market. It rivals with the likes of MG Hector Plus and upcoming Tata Gravitas. It is one of the most capable SUVs in its segment and known for its spacious cabin and aggressive price tag. People around the country also modify the Mahindra SUV to make it looks more appealing. Here’s one such modified Mahindra XUV500, which is fully blacked out.

The Mahindra XUV500 you see here has been dechromed by the modifier. All the chrome inserts around the body of the SUV has been blacked out. Exterior parts like roof rails, front grille and skid plate now feature black colour. The windows of the car have also been tinted, which makes this Mahindra XUV500 look like a true blue mafia car. On the side, the alloy wheels of the SUV have been blacked-out, which look quite elegant. The front disc brake callipers of the car feature red colour, which makes the SUV look quite sporty. The modifications done on the Mahindra XUV500 are subtle, but these customizations have made the SUV look eye-catching.

Other than this, no modifications have been made on the exteriors of the SUV. Mahindra has plans to introduce the new-gen model of the XUV500 by the first half of this year. It will feature a significant amount of changes on outside and inside. Mechanically, the all-new model of the SUV will be powered by a 2.0-litre mStallion petrol mill and a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel mill. The same powertrain option does duties in the new-gen Mahindra Thar. Transmission duties are done by a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The ongoing model of the car is propelled by a 2.2-litre diesel engine. It gets retailed at a starting price of Rs 13.57 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 19.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec model.
