The Tata Altroz is one of the best looking premium hatchbacks on sale today. Today we came across this Altroz "GT" which gets a host of aftermarket modifications.

The Tata Altroz is a very good offering from the Indian auto giant in the premium hatchback segment, even though it may be overshadowed by its rivals. It has an eye-catching design, trim levels that come loaded with equipment, and is priced very competitively.  Launched in early 2020, the Altroz’s launch went largely under the radar as the global Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing lockdown happened. By the end of the year, the all-new Hyundai i20 launched which took away all the spotlight. But on a more positive note, the Altroz has started selling in respectable numbers, and Tata recently launched a turbo-petrol variant to take on the likes of the i20 Turbo and Volkswagen Polo TSI. The aggressive design of the Altroz also lends itself well for aftermarket modifications, like this one we came across today.

The video has been uploaded by AbhiFied on Youtube in which we can see this Tata Altroz getting a host of modifications. On the front, there’s a new splitter while the grille gets red GT badging. The sides of this Altroz gets new custom decals on the front door while there are contrasting black highlights and stripes near the ORVMs and lower door line. The rear end remains largely the same except for the addition of more GT badges and an aftermarket spoiler. The red and black theme continues inside with new red highlights around the AC vents, climate control buttons and gear lever surround. There’s also a faux wood finish around the door handles and rear AC vents. Overall, this is a quite tastefully done modification and is sure to catch your attention when you see it.

Prices for the Tata Altroz range from Rs 5.69 lakh for the base XE trim and goes up to Rs 9.45 Lakh for the top XZ Option variant. It can be specced with the option of 2 petrol or 1 diesel engine, the first one being a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder unit which makes peak power and torque figures of 83 PS/113 Nm respectively. The oil burner is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine that churns out 90 PS/200 Nm of max power and torque.
