Hengtian Yueli - Toyota Land Cruiser

Spotted for the first time in China in 2016, the Hengtian Yueli is still on sale in the Chinese auto market. The Chinese vehicle bears a strong resemblance to Toyota Land Cruiser in many aspects. Some of the easy-to-notice similar features between the two vehicles include the front independent suspension and the rear four-link suspension with coil springs. The general shape and many other details of the two SUVs, especially on the side profile, look nearly identical to each other. However, at least, the Chinese auto manufacturer altered the headlamps and the grille to make its vehicle different from the Japanese counterpart.

Under the hood of the two vehicles are two different sets of engines. While the Yueli is powered by a Chinese-made 4.6-litre V8 petrol motor with 286 HP, the Toyota Land Cruiser receives its power from a 4.5-litre V8 diesel unit with 265 HP. Being a highly popular SUV not just in India but also around the world, the Toyota Land Cruiser is quite expensive. Offering a much lower price range, the Hengtian Yueli allows those who desire for a Land Cruiser but are short of money.
