Cricketer Mathew Hayden’s New Vehicle is a Mahindra Scorpio

Cricketer Mathew Hayden has been recently spotted while driving the Mahindra Scorpio pick-up. He is the brand ambassador of Mahindra Australia.  

If you love cricket then who must have heard the name of the Australian cricket legend Mathew Hayden. He is the brand ambassador of Mahindra for the Australian market. Recently, the Chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra tweeted a picture of Mathew Hayden driving the Scorpio pick-up, which is known as Pickup Dual Cab 4X4 in Australia. This picture was shared by one of Anand Mahindra’s friends. He also used a hashtag IndiavsAustralia because this picture was clicked outside Gaba where the test match was going on. Moreover, he also tagged Matthew Hayden in the tweet. The tweet stated “A friend sent me this pic of Matthew Hayden outside the Gabba where #IndiavsAustralia was going down to the wire. He’s seated in an SUV that looks mildly familiar! Keep that engine revving @HaydosTweets”

Earlier, Mathew Hayden has also done a video the Pickup, where he tells what he thinks about the new-gen model of Pickup, which is based on the Scorpio Getaway. Moreover, he has also done a video where he tells how the Mahindra XUV500 is a perfect family car. In the Australia market, the Mahindra XUV500 is propelled by a 2.2-litre turbocharged gasoline engine, which puts out power and torque outputs of 140bhp and 320 Nm, which is class-leading as per Mahindra. The entry-level trim of the SUV is offered in front-wheel-drive configuration and comes paired with a 6-speed Aisin automatic gearbox, while the top-spec trims of the car are offered with an all-wheel-drive powertrain.

In India, the turbo petrol mill and all-wheel-drive trim got discontinued.
