Maruti Swift is one of the most popular hatchbacks offered by the carmaker in the Indian market. In its segment, it rubs shoulders with the likes of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. Till now, the carmaker has introduced three-generation models of the car in India. Maruti Swift is quite known among the buyers for its compact dimensions, reliable power plant, and decently-equipped cabin. The hatchback is also popular among the modifiers around India as they customize it as per their preferences, and Maruti Swift is one of those entry-level hatchbacks, which is easily customizable. Here's a modified Maruti Swift, which looks quite elegant.

The Maruti Swift you see here is the second-gen model of the hatchback. The owner has made subtle modifications like the addition of 17-inch, multi-spoke blacked out rims. The regular model of the car is offered with 15-inch rims. These blacked-out 17-inch alloy units are shod with 205/45/17 Nankang tyres. To give it a more sporty appeal, the front brake callipers are painted in red colour shade. The modifier has blacked-out all the chrome inserts on the exterior of the hatchback. Moreover, the regular suspension system has been swapped with a Spax Performance lowering springs. All these customizations have made the Maruti hatchback look more eye-catching. Other than this, no modifications have been done to the car.

The picture of this Maruti Swift has been uploaded by an Instagram page named staytunedindia. The second-gen model of the hatchback was offered wit both petrol and diesel engines, while the ongoing model of the car is on sale with a 1.2-litre, four-pot gasoline mill only, which develops power and torque outputs of 89 Bhp and 113 Nm, respectively. The engine comes paired yo a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. It is rated to offer an ARAI certified mileage of 23.76 kmpl. It gets retailed at a starting price of Rs 5.73 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
