According to the caption of these images, the driver of the Ford EcoSport was trying to overtake another vehicle while he lost the control and crashed the car into a pole. With the effect of the collision, the pole fell on to the roof of the car, which was strong enough to keep the passengers safe and away from any injuries, whatsoever. Some witnesses reveal that all the three occupants of the EcoSport flew away from the spot in the night itself. Moreover, they claimed that the mishap took place due to sheer negligence and rash driving of the EcoSport’s driver.

Fortunately, the occupants walked out of the vehicle safely, but it could’ve ended disastrously. Talking of the safety aspect, the EcoSport comes with a lot of safety aids as standard fitment across the range. But, the India-spec car has never been tested for its safety rating. The EcoSport sold in the European market, however, was awarded a 4-star crash test rating by Euro-NCAP.
