Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner are among the popularly known SUVs in the Indian market. While the Toyota Fortuner is the top-selling SUV in its segment, the Ford Endeavour, on the other hand, is loved by a lot of off-road enthusiast around the country. Because of the popularity of both the SUVs, earlier, there have been many debates among the fans of both the cars. Here’s a recent video which shows a tug of war competition between both the SUVs. Go through the video embedded below to know the surprising results.

This tug of war video is uploaded by a YouTube channel named as Arun Panwar. The Toyota Fortuner you see in this video is the Sigma-4 trim of the car. It derives power from a 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel unit that produces 174bhp of peak power and 420 Nm of twisting force. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed MT along with a 4X4 system. The Ford Endeavour in this video is the BS4 model of the SUV, which was propelled by a 3.2-litre five-pot oil burner that produces power and torque outputs of 179bhp and 470 Nm. The new 2020 BS6 model of the car features a 2.0-litre unit.

In the first round, both the SUVs can be seen struggling to pull each other, but at the end, the Ford Endeavour was able to pull the Fortuner for several meters. In the second round, the Ford Endeavour effortlessly drags the Fortuner for a few meters. There are a few crucial factors behind the winning and losing of a car in a drag race. The first important factor is the driver who is driving the car and secondly the condition of tyres. The main reason behind the winning of the Ford Endeavour in this competition is its potent 3.2-litre diesel motor. Nevertheless, these challenges can damage the engine, transmission and the drivetrain of a car. These competitions can permanently damage the mechanicals of a car.
