The rear axle and the rear wheels have also be damaged, while the rear portion of the car's chassis is also bent.

In the pictures, it can be seen that the car has suffered a lot of damage. The impact is mostly on the right-hand side of the car. The rear axle of the car has also taken a hit. Therefore, the rear wheels are not in shape anymore. While the sheet metal damage is visible, the suspension assembly on the front portion has also been damaged. No doubt, the extent of damage is way too much, but the car has absorbed the impact very well, as the occupant could exit the car without any injury. However, we should note that this particular car is not the top-spec trim of the Figo. Therefore, it doesn’t come with side and curtain airbags, whose presence could’ve pushed the safety quotient even higher.

The bigger diesel with nearly 1500 cc of displacement dishes out 99 PS and 215 Nm as its maximum output. The transmission duties on the Figo are performed by a 5-speed manual transmission. The option of an automatic transmission is not available with any of these engines. Ex-showroom prices for the Ford Figo start at Rs. 5.39 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs. 7.85 lakh.
