Jeep India has recently unveiled the Jeep Compass facelift in the India market on Jan 7, 2021. Now, soon after the introduction of the new Compass, Jeep is expected to be working on an all-new 7-seater version of the SUV that will share the same structure as the 5-seater Compass. A digital illustrator from KDesign AG has released the latest rendering of the Jeep Compass 7-seater, showing how the upcoming Jeep SUV could look like. Check it out!

In fact, the three-row version of the Jeep Compass has been spotted testing in some international markets several times but none can show us clearly how the upcoming 7-seater Jeep Compass might look like. Based on the rendered image, we can tell that the 7 seater iteration of Compass doesn’t look identical to the Compass' 5-seater model, especially from the front. The 7-seater SUV gets a modern-looking face that boasts of a seven-slat grille design, flanked by dual LED projector headlights on the sides. There’s also an LED light bar acting as a DRL that connect the headlamps together.

Other than that, the other elements are in line with Jeep’s family design philosophy with some muscular design cues and bumper-mounted LED fog lamps. As you already know, the imminent Jeep 7-seater is not a completely new SUV as it will be based on the same monocoque platform as the 5-seater Compass. However, be it a 7-seater SUV, the upcoming Jeep car will boast of an increased overall length and wheelbase to offer more room for the third row of seats.

On the sides, the major highlight is the new-design of gloss-black multi-spoke alloy wheels along with red callipers. One may notice that the side profile of the Jeep 7-seater SUV is quite different from that of the 5-seater and most of the cues are inspired by the Lincoln Navigator. The same happens to be a case at the rear fascia. There’s a horizontal LED light strip running across the width of the Jeep Compass 7 seater that’s in line with the global trend.

On the inside, the upcoming Jeep 7-seater car will get a lot of premium interior features such as leather-wrapped seats, a panoramic sunroof, a touchscreen for the infotainment system, multifunction steering wheel, electrically-adjustable driver seat among others. In all likelihood, the 7-seat Compass might also get captain seats for the second row.

Powering the upcoming Jeep Compass 7-seater car will be the same 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine seen in the 5-seater Compass but in a higher state of tune. Currently, this engine is propelling the Compass with a max power of 173 PS. In the 7-seat avatar, the figure might be increased to 200 PS. Allegedly, the Jeep Compass 7-seater will be launched in India by sometime next year. Upon its launch, the 7-seater SUV will rival against the likes of MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV500 in India.
