Kia made its first footstep into the Indian market with the Kia Seltos which has quickly gained a fair share of success in India in a short span of time. The mid-size SUV takes on the like of Hyundai Creta, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, etc. in the segment. Now that the Kia Seltos now becomes a common sight on the Indian roads, we’ve seen several examples of the modified Kia Seltos that are interesting to look and drive. Here we get a modified Kia Seltos that gets a Valvetronic exhaust that can remotely control the loudness in a video. Check it out.

As you can see from the video uploaded on JJ Automobile Vlogs channel, this modified Kia Seltos doesn’t receive the wild modifications for its exterior like some earlier modified Seltos models. Just some minor mod jobs have been done to the exterior of the car, including a gloss black wrap for the roof, newly-fitted rain visors and door guards. The interior of the modified Seltos has been tweaked a bit as well. Leather seat upholstery, 7D floor mats and upgraded audio system, etc. are some of the updates that the new modified Seltos has to offer.

However, the biggest talking point here lies in the exhaust setup. The Seltos has been customized with a Valvetronic straight-pipe exhaust sourced from Remus. What’s interesting is that the driver can adjust the loudness of the exhaust via remote control. When he turned off the valves, the car rolled out a normal exhaust sound but the moment he switched it on, the modified Seltos sounded like a true sports car. It is cool, isn’t it?

You can hear the loud exhaust sound from a distance when the vlogger got the SUV for a spin. The Kia Seltos featured in the video is an HTK Plus trim that comes with a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine mated to a manual transmission. The cost for this custom Valvetronic exhaust is around Rs 30,000, in addition to another Rs 20,000 for some other upgrades.
