Here are a few images of a customized Maruti Eeco, which employs a lot of aftermarket equipment to look better and perform better. Read more about it here.
Maruti Eeco is one of the most popular vans offered in the Indian market. It was launched to replace Maruti Omni. It is among the top-selling cars in the automaker's stable. Moreover, it is one of the top 10 highest-selling cars in India. Maruti Eeco is mainly used for commercial purposes by transportation companies and also by schools as school van. It is indeed a great people mover, but weirdly modified examples of Maruti Eeco are a common sight. However, here are a few images of a tastefully modified Maruti Eeco, which looks stunning and packs-in some performance mods.
The Maruti Eeco you see here is owned by Sarath Sajeev. Now talking about the modifications, the front fascia of the car looks almost similar to the stock model, but it gets yellow-tinted right-side headlamp along with aftermarket auxiliary lights fitted on the front grille of the vehicle. On the side, it employs new aftermarket 14-inch BBS rims, which are shod with 185/50/R14 section rubber. The stock model of the car gets 13-inch steel wheels. It also gets custom roof rack and crossbar, K&N pod air filter and a customized audio system. Other than this, no modifications have been done on the car. The overall cost of all these customizations is not known, but it seems to be quite affordable.
Talking about Maruti Eeco, it gets propelled by a 1.2-litre, mid-mounted, four-cylinder petrol mill, which puts out 72 Bhp of peak power and 98 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes coupled to a 5-speed MT only and sends power to the rear wheels via a rigid axle. The automaker also offers a CNG version of the car, which develops power and torque outputs of 62 Bhp and 85 Nm. It is offered in our market in 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. Maruti Eeco gets retailed at a starting price of Rs 3.97 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 5.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec variant. As of now, Maruti Eeco has no competition to face in the personal vehicle segment.
