These Toyota Fortuner SUVs get aftermarket Lexus like body kit along with a few subtle cosmetic tweaks to look more upmarket
Toyota Fortuner is the top-selling SUV in its segment. It competes with the likes of Mahindra Alturas G4, Ford Endeavour and recently launched MG Gloster. The all-new avatar of the SUV looks very modern and attractive with the sleek body design. Toyota’s premium brand Lexus also offers its vehicles in the Indian market, but they carry an expensive price tag. AutoMarc, a popular modification garage in Delhi is offering a new bolt-on kit, which transforms the front fascia of Fortuner to look like Lexus LX 570.
This kit completely changes the whole front fascia of the SUV. It now gets hourglass-shaped grille, which is highly inspired by the Lexus cars. The bumper of the car is also replaced by a sleeker and a more aggressive-looking unit. The lower part of the kit features LED DRLs and fog lamps, which looks pretty big and are inspired by the Lexus cars. It also features chrome inserts, which enhances the overall premium quotient of the SUV. On the side, the design of the SUV remains stock, and it only gets aftermarket side-steps. At the back, Toyota Fortuner with Lexus kit LED taillights with blacked-out inserts. The rear bumper of the car has also been replaced by a new unit and it now gets integrated quad exhaust, which looks very impressive. The black colour Toyota Fortuner gets aftermarket taillights mounted on D-pillar, lower bumper and a sporty looking spoiler. The white Fortuner gets dynamic turning indicators, which look extremely good on the car.
The kit consists of front Lexus Bumper, rear skirt with quad tips, side step boards, roof spoiler-mounted Led light bar, spoiler, Spoiler-mounted tail lamp, Lexus-styled Tail Lamps. The overall cost of the kit is Rs 1.4 lakh plus taxes, which looks quite worthy as it makes the SUV look more eye-catching and premium. Talking about Toyota Fortuner, it derives power from 2.7-litre petrol and 2.8-litre diesel engine. The former develops power and torque outputs of 164bhp and 245 Nm, while the latter puts out 172bhp of peak power and 360 Nm of peak torque.
