See how a modified Volkswagen Polo 2011 is transformed into a performance GTI unit in the video posted online.
Volkswagen Polo is one of the most iconic and enduring cars in the entire automobile history. The German manufacturer has successfully preserved the classy, elegant and ageless design of the Polo throughout the years. However, we will get to see a different version, a more aggressively-styled and sportier iteration of the Polo. The stock 2011 red colour Polo has been modified to become a white GTI unit with various add-ons. Let's have a look at this stunningly modified Volkswagen Polo.
This is not an extensive or bizarre custom car design that you might expect. However, the modification job shows a certain level of finesse and practicality. The most distinguished change is the new colour coat. It is not common to see a matte-white-finished car. On the fascia, the addition of canard braces painted in Germany flag’s colour on the bumper might catch your eyes right away. Another significant change is the new DRL-integrated headlamps that are reminiscent of the pre-facelift Audi A4. This aftermarket unit works particularly well for the modified Polo. Moreover, the aftermarket headlights are plug-and-play devices with easy instalment. As it doesn’t require working with the wiring, it keeps the system intact, hence, the warranty will not be affected.
After customized, Volkswagen Polo looks like a real GTI model with a sporty and aggressive look
To dampen the glossy appearance and give rise to the sportiness of the design, all the chrome factors on the front face are ruled out. Besides, the grille gets the red lining and a GTI badge on one side. Patterned decals are also added to the bonnet and the rear tailgate area. On the side profile, side running boards are added to make the car look more rugged. Also, black plastic cladding now covers the wheel arches. The alloy wheels are painted in black, combined with the wine-colored brake callipers. At the rear side, the car gets LED aftermarket tail lamps and a roof-mounted spoiler.
Even though Volkswagen Polo doesn’t get extensive changes, some simple touches could work wonders on the transformation of the car. After the custom job, the Polo looks like a real GMT.
The interior of the Volkswagen Polo is also modified to look more premium and sporty
However, this modified Volkswagen Polo will get you stunned when entering its cabin. The Polo gets a new purple seat cover. The same shade is inserted on the door trims as well. The most significant change is the Audi-inspired star roof of the Polo. No changes for the engine setting are made.
