Nawazuddin Siddiqui, popularly known as Nawaz, is one of the most recognized stars of our generation. The actor rose to fame from the cult-classic ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ and its sequel. He has also done a plethora of other critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies as well, like Kahaani, Talaash, Paan Singh Tomar, Bombay Talkies, Kick, Badlapur, Bajrangi Bhaijan, etc. Most of his roles are character-driven, which can be considered his strength. In fact, Nawaz is one of the few actors in Bollywood who has managed to rise to the top without any prior connections or had any helping hand via nepotism.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also earned quite a few awards for his performance. He was nominated three times for Best Supporting Actor and was also nominated for Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor at the Filmfare Awards. He also has one win to his name, Best Supporting Actor, for his performance in ‘The Lunchbox’.

In fact, we could only confirm two cars in his garage; a Ford Endeavour and a Mercedes GLS. Here we describe both the cars owned by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Ford Endeavour

The first car in Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Car Collection is an old-model Ford Endeavour. Automobile enthusiasts already know of the car’s off-road prowess. For the uninitiated, the Endeavour is a brilliantly capable vehicle, with a torquey diesel engine and proper All-wheel-drive system thrown in for a good measure. If you aren’t a fan of taking the beaten path, Ford also offers a smaller diesel engine and a rear-wheel-drive system. Thus you get all the road-presence but in an extremely frugal package. The SUV offers a very spacious cabin as well, with the first- and second-row seats being extremely comfortable for everyone. Sadly, the third-row seats are not very comfortable for adults, but children would be fine there.

Ford Endeavour offers two engine options: a 3.2-litre turbo-diesel and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel. Maximum power and torque figures for both the engines are 200PS/470Nm and 160PS/385Nm respectively. Both engines are paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, but the bigger 3.2L engine gets AWD whereas the smaller 2.2L engine is offered with an RWD system. The Ford Endeavour competes with Toyota Fortuner and a lot of upcoming cars, like Tata Gravitas, MG Hector 6-seater, Daval D90 by Great Wall motors.

Mercedes-Benz GLS

While most of the celebrities in India prefer to buy themselves luxury cars from big brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volvo, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce, Nawaz had never indulged in such extravagance himself. All that changed when his brother Shamas gifted him a Mercedes-Benz GLS luxury SUV, to celebrate the success of ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaz’. It was Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s first solo outing and was both critically acclaimed and commercially successful.

Mercedes-Benz GLS is available in two engine options: a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine and a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol. The former produces with 260PS and 620Nm of max power and torque respectively, while the latter produces 333PS of peak power and 480Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are paired to Mercedes’ 9G-Tronic gearbox, which is a 9-speed automatic. The abundance of gears ensures that the engine is always working optimally.
