The biggest competitor to Rolls-Royce, Bentley is another car maker that is synonymous with luxury. Bentley Mulsanne is a true blue factory-made limousine. The Mulsanne is comparable to the Rolls-Royce Ghost in dimensions and comfort. The engine is a 6.8-litre V8 capable of producing 530 PS and a massive 1100 Nm of max power and torque respectively. Also, the Bentley Mulsanne carries a slightly lower price than the aforementioned Rolls, not that it really matters to the target audience. Built as a replacement for the Ferrari FF, the GTC4Lusso is a Ferrari for the family man. It is available in two variants, a standard ‘T’ variant and a 'V12' variant. The former is powered by a 610PS/760Nm 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8. The latter is powered by a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12, capable of producing 690 PS and 700 Nm. Surprisingly, the larger, although more expensive, is not significantly more powerful than the much smaller, twin-turbo V8. That primarily is due to the novelty of naturally-aspirated V12 engine; the configuration is extremely rare, and will become even rarer in years to come.

British Sportscar marquee Aston Martin has been famous for its use in ‘James Bond’ movies as the ride of choice for the titular character. That is primarily down to the beauty of the different cars in the company’s line-up throughout the years. Aston Martin DB11 is also one such car, with pleasing aesthetics and mind-blowing performance. The DB11 features a 600PS/700Nm 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12. No wonder Bond loves these cars!

#12. Bentley Bentayga: Rs. 3.78 Crore

Not only is this Bentley an extremely comfy and luxurious car, it is an extremely capable SUV off-road as well. Not that many buyers would actually take this car to the dirt, though.

In 2010, Aston Martin Lagonda introduced to the world its first and only 4-door sportscar, the Aston Martin Rapide. Based on the DB9, the Rapide was an extremely beautiful and moderately practical performance car. While you can’t really fit adults comfortably in the rear seats, it’s great for children and pets. The car is powered by a 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12 which belches out 558 PS and 620 Nm. 

#14. Mercedes-Benz Maybach S650 : Rs. 2.73 Crore

While Mercedes hasn’t had much success with their ‘Maybach’ brand, the German auto giant now offers the name as an ultra-luxury trim of its already ultra-luxurious S-Class. The result is a car so mind-blowingly beautiful on the inside, you could sell your house and live in the car instead. Looking at its price tag, you might have to actually! Although the Maybach S650 isn’t the absolutely most expensive car in India, it still is outrageously so. There is a smaller, slightly less expensive Maybach on offer as well, the Mercedes-Benz Maybach S560, and to be honest, a lot of famous celebrities in India seem to prefer the smaller S560 to the bigger S650.

#15. Porsche 911: Rs. 1.82 Crore

Porsche 911 is the best example of a sportscar we currently have available. The delicate balance between comfort and handling, the explosive performance, lightweight yet extremely tough chassis, all make it the benchmark against which other sportcars are measured. While globally there are plenty of different variants of this Porsche, there are only two variants available in India; the Carrera Coupe and Carrera Cabriolet (convertible). Under the hood, you’ll find a 3.0-litre Boxer-6 engine that produces 450 PS and 530 Nm, the smallest engine available in the 911 line-up. Even though the Carrera is the base model 911, this car is still one of the most expensive cars in India. Makes us wonder what the 911 Turbo would cost!
