Recently, Tata Motors launched the all-new Safari in the Indian market. In its segment, it rivals with the likes of MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV500. The all-new Tata Safari has attracted a lot of enthusiasts around the country. The SUV is offered in several variants. Here’s a recent detailed walkaround video of Tata Safari XM trim, which is a variant above the base XE variant. This video shows the added feature you get is the XM variant over the base model of the car.

The XE trims of the 2021 Tata Safari is priced at Rs 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the other hand, the XM variant of the SUV carries a price tag of Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). So, there’s a difference of Rs 1.13 between both variants. Now talking about the XM version of Tata Safari, over the base trim, it gets fog lamps up front and Follow Me Headlamp feature. On the side, it gets piano black side mirrors with integrated side blinkers. The side mirrors offered with the XM trim are electrically adjustable. The rear fascia of the SUV gets a rear wiper with a washer and reverse parking sensors with a display.

These are all the extra features you get with the XM trim of Safari over the base version. Moreover, you get a lot of extra features inside the cabin of the SUV like multiple drive modes- Eco, City and Sport. You get a floating 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The 2021 Tata Safari XM trim also employs steering mounted controls, height-adjustable driver’s seat, remote central locking and six speakers over the XE variant. By paying Rs 1.13 lakh, you get a lot of extra features on the outside and inside. Talking about the new-gen Tata Safari, it derives power from a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine, which puts out 170bhp of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
