On 2nd October 2020, Mahindra & Mahindra launched the new-gen Thar in the Indian market. The all-new model of the SUV has got popular among the buyers around the country. The waiting period for the 2020 Mahindra off-roader is now around nine months. Reports suggest that the automaker has ramped up the production of the SUV to ensure timely deliveries. Enthusiasts around the country have also started customizing the new-gen Mahindra Thar to make the SUV look more striking. Here are a few images of all-new Mahindra Thar, which gets aftermarket alloy units.

New Mahindra Thar Looks Rather Tiny Parked Alongside Hummer H2

The regular model of the SUV comes with 18-inch smart looking alloy wheels. The new-gen Mahindra Thar you see here gets massive 22-inch diamond-cut, dual-tone alloy wheels. These alloy wheels are wrapped with low profile rubber. These aftermarket rims are gelling up well with the all-black colour shade of the SUV. These alloy units are of Victor brand, and the custom job has been done by KB Tyres Ludhiana, Punjab. Moreover, the biggest drawback of getting such big alloy wheels is that they are prone to damage when encountering potholes or speed bumps at high speed. This is the soft-top model of the SUV. Other than this no modifications have been done to the car.

Right now, the 2020 Mahindra Thar is offered with six different colour shades namely- Galaxy Grey, Rocky Beige, Mystic Copper, Red Rage, Aqua Marine and Napoli Black. Along with new paint scheme, the upcoming model of the SUV will also be offered with the revised hardtop as it gets bigger rear windows and new rear windscreen hinges. The 2020 model of the SUV is retailed at a starting price of Rs 12.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 14.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec variant.
