Maruti Swift is among the most popular hatchbacks offered by the carmaker in our market. It is also one of the best-selling cars in India.  It is popular among buyers for its compact dimensions, decently-equipped cabin and aggressive price tag.  In its segment, it rubs shoulders with the likes of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The Maruti hatchback is also quite known among the modifiers around the country because they customize it as per their preference to make it look more striking. Here’s a Maruti Swift, which has been modified with aftermarket alloy wheels.

The regular model of the car gets smart-looking 15-inch alloy units. The Maruti Swift you see here employs huge 20-inch five-spoke rims. These aftermarket alloy wheels have enhanced the overall look of the car and it now looks bigger than before. This is the third-gen model of the SUV, and these rims have made the car look more eye-catching. These aftermarket alloy wheels are shod with low profile rubber. Other than this, no customization has been done one the hatchback. Moreover, the biggest drawback of these alloy wheels is that they are prone to damage when encountering potholes or speed bumps at high speed. Talking about Maruti Swift, it gets propelled by a 1.2-litre, four-pot gasoline mill, which churns out 82bhp of power and 113 Nm of twisting force. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. The engine is rated to offer an ARAI certified mileage of 21.12 kmpl. Inside, it comes loaded with features like automatic AC, a touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, semi-digital instrument console, power windows, reverse parking sensors and steering mounted controls. . It is retailed at a starting price of Rs 5.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base LXI trim and goes all the way up to Rs 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec ZXI Plus AMT variant.
