Real World Visuals of Hyundai Verna Facelift Surface, Looks Dashing in Red

Hyundai Verna facelift was launched earlier this year (March 2020), just when the entire country was asked to lock itself inside home. As such, we were unable to see any units of the new Verna on the road. That being said, the anticipation for the vehicle is quite high, and we’ve seen plenty of walkaround video from plenty of people, even before the car was launched! Here, however, we have a walkaround of the 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift that shows the car parked out in the open.

The video above, posted by YouTube channel ‘BMC HD Videos’, shows a brand new Hyundai Verna in the ‘Fiery Red’ exterior paint scheme, parked outside a Hyundai showroom. The car is probably being prepared for delivery. We also see a Grand i10 Nios parked ahead, another Hyundai Verna in ‘Polar White’ parked behind, and a Hyundai Venue standing beside it. The video gives us a brief walkaround of the exterior as well as the interior of the car.

The video begins with a shot of the new machine-cut, dual-tone alloy wheels of the new Verna. After that, we get a glimpse of the new wraparound taillights. The video then takes towards the front of the car. The front three-quarter section of the car looks quite brilliant, and is perhaps the best angle to view the new Verna. We then move closer towards the new dagger-shaped headlamps and the new front grille with a cascading mesh design. After a few more beauty shots, we proceed inside the cabin. The dual-tone interior theme looks quite brilliant, and the spaciousness is quite apparent even in this short clip. The new 8-inch infotainment screen adds a touch of premium-ness.

The new 2020 Hyundai Verna (facelift) is available with three engine options. The first option is a 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated, inline-4 petrol engine, with a maximum power figure of 115 PS and 144 Nm of maximum power and peak torque, respectively. This motor comes paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, and a 6-speed torque converter is available as an option. The second one is a 1.5-litre, inline-4, turbo-diesel motor, with 115 PS and 250 Nm on tap. Transmission options with this one include a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The third option is a 1.0-litre, inline-3, turbo-petrol engine, which can generate 120 PS and 171 Nm. It comes paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
