Toyota RAV4 Limousine is the extended version of the regular RAV4. It has been built by a team of 200 Toyota workers.

Toyota RAV4 is a compact crossover that has been in the foreign market since 1994, and right now, the car is in its fifth-gen Avatar. The RAV4 is quite popular in countries like America, Japan and a few other European countries. The automaker managed to retail around almost 4.5 lakh units of the SUV last year. Nevertheless, the carmaker also offers the RAV4 limousine, which looks smart but is not that popular among the buyers. The Toyota RAV4 Limousine is 7.9 meters or 26 feet long. It is 3.3 meters longer than the regular RAV4 and one can clearly see the difference between both the SUVs..

The surprising fact is that the RAV4 limo is not built by any modification house, it is manufactured by Toyota itself. The limo SUV is built by a group of 200 people at the company’s Takaoka facility in Japan during their off-hours. Moreover, this is the same manufacturing plant where standard RAV4 is built, alongside the Corolla and recently introduced Harrier. It took around 4 months for the Toyota employees to build the RAV4 limousine. Like the regular RAV4, this Toyota RAV4 Limousine is also offered with two rows of seats. The Toyota People has added an extra space in the middle of the limo, and the overall product doesn’t look as clean as any other limousine.

The regular Toyota RAV4 derives power from a 2.5-litre Dynamic Force 4-pot motor that produces 203bhp of peak power. The Toyota SUV is also offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, which consists of a multi-electric motor assist that produces 118bhp of power, increasing the peak power up to 218bhp. One can get the RAV4 with a front-wheel-drive setup or with company’s electronic on-demand All-Wheel Drive configuration. In India, the automaker will soon introduce its all-new sub-4-meter SUV named as Urban Cruiser. The all-new Toyota SUV will be based on Maruti’s Vitara Brezza. Once launched, it’ll rival with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon.
