Here's a 2019 Tata Tiago JTP, and it is up for sale at an asking price of Rs. 4.00 lakh with hardly any kilometres on the odo. Read more about it here.
Tata Tiago is the smallest offering from the homegrown carmaker in the Indian market. The Tiago received a mid-cycle refresh in January last year, which induced a little freshness to its overall design. However, in its pre-facelift avatar, Tata Motors sold a sportier iteration of the Tiago – Tiago JTP. It was produced in collaboration with a Coimbatore based tuning house – Jayem Automotive. Since the duo has now called off the partnership, the Tiago JTP is not on sale anymore. However, if you always thought of getting one home, here’s one that is on sale for a non-negotiable asking price of Rs. 4.00 lakh, which is equivalent to the on-road price of a Maruti Alto LXI.
The classified was posted on a social media platform by KA Kumar. Talking of the details of this Tiago JTP, it is an MY 2019 car and has clocked around 7,000 kilometres on the odometer. It is a Haryana registered vehicle and is currently located in Faridabad, Haryana. In case you buy this Tata Tiago JTP, you’ll be the second owner of the car. To contact the owner, you can dial 7827122422. In the Berry Red paint scheme, the Tiago JTP looks gorgeous for sure. The carmaker offered it in two paint schemes only – Berry Red and Pearlescent White.
The main highlight of the Tiago JTP was its engine. It came with a 1.2L 3-pot turbo-petrol that produced a peak power output of 115 Horsepower and a max torque of 150 Nm. With a 5-speed stick shift transmission, it could do a 0-100 kmph run in just 9.95 seconds. The top-speed, however, was electronically limited at 160 kmph. The Tiago JTP’s engine also featured a blow-off valve. It came with a sportier exhaust muffler in comparison to its regular counterpart.
Currently, the facelifted Tata Tiago is retailed with a 1.2L naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine. It is capable of putting out a rated power output of 86 PS and max torque of 113 Nm. The transmission options include a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT. With a starting price of Rs. 4.70 lakh, the Tiago rivals the likes of Maruti Celerio, Hyundai Grand i10 and more.
