Prices of 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Diesel’s diesel variants decreased, in comparison with the previous model.

One of the amazing features of the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is the new 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech. Moreover, there is another thing that attracts customers: the new model is considerably lower-priced than the former one.

In terms of price, the updated model is much more reasonably priced than the previous one across all its variants. Whereas the pre-facelift version of diesel Ciaz costs between Rs 9.50-11.51 lakh, the facelifted model costs between Rs 9.19-10.97 lakh. Plus, even with the supplementary features such as seatbelt reminders for the driver and entrance passengers, rear parking sensors and a pace alert program, the base diesel on the facelift is priced at Rs 30,000 less than the pre-facelift models. When it comes to the top rated-spec trims, the price gap is even wider, of about Rs 50,000. With the attachment of advanced features such as cruise handle, LED tail-lamps, LED daytime jogging lights and LED headlamps on the top rated-spec variants, the lower price makes this updated models even more attractive to customers.

Refer to the table below to have a clearer understanding of the price of Facelifted 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Diesel in comparison with the former model across its variants.

Furthermore, even before the launch of the new model, the reasonable price of the Ciaz diesel is what keeps it highly competitive with its contenders in Indian auto market. Now with a decrease in price, it is even more attractive to customers in comparison with other rivals such as the diesel Volkswagen Vento (Rs 9.65-12.56 lakh), Hyundai Verna diesel (Rs 9.60-12.86 lakh) and the Honda Metropolis diesel (Rs 11.10-13.88 lakh).

It is also interesting to note that to compete with Ciaz facelift, Nexa dealerships were offering large discounts and benefits of as much as Rs 1.3 lakh on the unsold products.

With a reasonable price and amazing added features, the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Diesel is becoming a practical and useful car for Indian families.
