2020 Hyundai Creta - New Variant Details Leaked

A recent report has revealed new details about the upcoming 2020 Hyundai Creta, including new trims and exterior colour options.

The upcoming next-gen Hyundai Creta, based on the the ix25 SUV that retails in the Chinese markets, was first showcased at the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show. Compared to the outgoing model, the new 2020 Creta employs new looks along with a refreshed cabin with some added features.

A recent report by Rushlane reveals the variants and colour options, which will be offered with the new-gen Creta. The report suggests that the SUV will be available in 14 trim levels in total, along with 10 colour shade options. Among these paint schemes, there will 8 single tone colour shade options and two dual-tone ones. The single tone colour options consist of Phantom Black, Mulberry Red, Lava Orange, Galaxy Blue, Titan Grey Polar White and Typhoon Silver. The dual-tone colour options are Orange with Black Roof and White with Black Roof. The dual-tone exterior will only be available on select trim options.

The next-gen Hyundai Creta will be powered by three different engine options, all of which will be borrowed from Kia Seltos. The base variant of the new model will get a 1.5-litre petrol mill, which puts out power and torque outputs of 115bhp and 145 Nm. The SUV will also be propelled by a more powerful 1.4-litre petrol engine that produces 140bhp and 242 Nm of torque. Other than that,the car will also feature a 1.5-litre, oil-burner, which churns out 115bhp of power and 250 Nm of twisting force. The transmission duties will be done by MT, AT and DSG transmissions.

One can expect the all-new Hyundai SUV to be priced between Rs 10 to 17 lakh (ex-showroom)

Outside, the updated car employs a 3D cascading grille, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, blacked-out pillars, LED headlamp and DRLs along with LED taillamp cluster. On inside the updated SUV features, a fresh-looking cabin which gets a large touchscreen infotainment system, multi-function steering wheel, a fully-digital instrument cluster, and much more. Once launched, the 2020 new-gen Hyundai Creta will compete with the likes of Nissan Kicks, Mahindra XUV500, Kia Seltos, and MG Hector. One can expect the all-new Hyundai SUV to be priced between Rs 10 to 17 lakh (ex-showroom).
