MG Hector To Be Offered Via Subscription Services At Launch

MG will collaborate with Myles to offer their customer the new-generation subscription service.

MG Motors is all set to start their journey in the Indian market. The first dealership is going to be open by May. Other preparation works are in progress as well. The first car of MG Motors in our market is confirmed to be the SUV MG Hector. The Hector is available on subscription basis, according to the latest reveal from the car manufacturer.

The subscription for the Hector will be available with the help from Myles, a platform for ride sharing and car subscription. With this new services, the customer could enjoy a brand-new form of ownership in which the customer could experience the upcoming SUV on the subscription basis.

The subscription basis will allow MG Motors to expand their network to 21 cities, and allow the Indian customers to access their new SUV and become aware of their brand name. It will also help the company to approach customers of young age. According to Rajeev Chaba, President & Managing Director of MG Motor India:

"This will help to cater to the evolving requirements of the new age customers. The partnership will enable customers to experience our upcoming SUV - MG Hector on a subscription basis, book test drives of the car and avail courtesy car benefit through the Myles platform. We plan to extend the Myles subscription model for our second vehicle as well - a pure EV that will be launched by the end of this year."

It is in their belief that the partnership will value Rs 250 crores at the first phase. The MG Hector will be the first one to go under this scheme.

The MG Hector is available with two engine options, both diesel and petrol. It will be the largest car in its class. Not only has a large body. MG Hector will also offer a wide range of segment-leading features. At launch, it will rival the Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and Mahindra XUV500.
