The Magnite is a make or break model for Nissan in the Indian auto market. And it looks like it is paying dividends as it jumps ahead of the likes of Ford and Volkswagen in sales.

After months of low sales numbers, Nissan has finally started rising up the sales charts with the help of the new Magnite compact SUV. The Magnite is the most affordable vehicle in its segment, and it already has over 33,000 bookings. As per reports, Nissan has sold 4,527 units that see the Japanese automaker overtake brands like Ford, MG, Volkswagen, Jeep, and Skoda. Currently, Nissan is the ninth highest-selling automaker in India, which is surprising when you realize they offer only two products – The Magnite and the Kicks.
