Here's a recent digital rendering of the Tata Altroz 3-door. Soon the automaker will introduce the new turbo petrol version of the hatchback.
Tata Motors introduced its first-ever premium hatchback named as Altroz early this year. In its segment, it rivals with the likes of Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20. Tata Altroz is the only hatchback in its segment to score 5-star rating at the Global NCAP crash test. This makes Tata Altroz safest car in its segment. Here’s a recent digital rendering, which shows how the 3-door version of the premium hatchback would look like.
This video has been uploaded by a YouTube channel named as Wheel Sketch. The designer has made subtle customizations on the exterior of the car to make the 3-door version of Tata Altroz look different from the regular model of the car. The front fascia now gets an extended bumper, which looks quite aggressive. Upfront, the hatchback also gets air vents on the bumper and bonnet of the car. On the side, the hatchback employs a new set of alloy wheels, which looks quite sporty. The designer has removed the rear doors of the car to give it a 2-door hatchback look. The hatchback also features side skirt and scoop to enhance the sporty look of the car. There are a few black accents around the body of the car, and the roof of the premium hatchback has also been blacked-out.
Soon the automaker will introduce the new turbo petrol version of the hatchback. The same powertrain does duties in the Tata Nexon and is capable of shredding out 120 PS of peak power. The hatchback is retailed at a starting price of Rs 5.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 9.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-end variant.
