Mod Shops Stock Up On Jeep Grille For 2020 Mahindra Thar

Mahindra & Mahindra revealed the new-gen Thar in our market on 15th August 2020. The car is getting praised among the enthusiasts for its ‘Jeep’ design theme. The all-new off-roader looks quite identical to that of the Jeep Wrangler. But, the Mahindra SUV will soon establish its identity in the Indian market. Earlier, we’ve shown you that the M&M dealers around the country have started stocking up Jeep-type grille because the stock grille offered with the SUV looks a bit quirky. Now, the custom shops around the country have also started stocking up on the same Jeep-like grille. These aftermarket Jeep grills are being offered by Motor Garage.in.

One can see in the images that these five slat grille looks quite muscular and will enhance the overall stance of the SUV. Mahindra is all set to launch the all-new off-roader in our market. The off-roader is likely to cost between Rs 10 to 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Mechanically, it’ll derive power from the 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engine. The former develops 150bhp and 300 Nm of torque, while the latter puts out power and torque outputs of 130 PS and 300 Nm.

The powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Inside, the 2020 Thar comes loaded with features like a 12-volt accessory socket, remote keyless entry, front power window, cruise control and roof-mounted speakers. It also sports a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with latest connectivity techs, removal doors and a four-wheel-drive option with mechanical locking differential as standard.

The all-new off-road will be offered in six unique colour shade options, and three factories fitted roof options namely- soft top, convertible and hardtop. The entry-level model of the car will be offered with a soft-top option. The convertible and hardtop option will be given with AX and LX variants. The new-gen Mahindra Thar will be offered with six different colour shade options namely- Mystic Copper, Aqua Marine, Napoli Black, Rocky Beige, Red Rage and Galaxy Grey.
