Hyundai Creta 7-Seater Digitally Imagined, Could Launch Next Year

Here’s a digital rendering of the upcoming Hyundai Creta 7-seater model, which is expected to hit the Indian shores by next year. It’ll compete with the likes of Tata Gravitas, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV500.

The second-gen Hyundai Creta has got immediate success in the Indian market and has become the company’s top-selling SUV. Next year, the Korean automaker is likely to introduce the 7-seater version of Creta, which is expected to be named as ‘Alcazar’. The upcoming Hyundai SUV will cater to the three-row SUV segment in our market as well as in other foreign markets like South Korea. A few weeks back, the SUV has been spied while getting tested wearing heavy camouflage. The test car gave us a few details about the upcoming SUV. The all-new Creta 7-seater will look very similar to that of the regular model of the SUV and is expected to be offered with three different powertrain options.

Here’s a new digital rendering of the upcoming Hyundai SUV uploaded by YouTube channel of SRK Designs. It shows how the upcoming 7-seater Creta could look like. SRK Designs has made tweaks to the B-pillar of the SUV as the rear overhang will be extended compared to that of the regular Hyundai Creta. The all-new Hyundai Alcazar will share its wheelbase with the regular model of the SUV, but the length of the SUV will be extended to accommodate an extra row of seats. The SUV is expected to get a new set of alloy wheels along with a few changes to be made on the rear profile of the SUV like the addition of new LED taillights.

In the rendering, the front fascia of the SUV has been upgraded to give a more aggressive stance. The SUV continues to get the split headlamp setup and blacked-out lower air dam, while it misses out the faux skid plate. Once launched, the all-new Hyundai Alcazar will rub shoulders with the likes of MG Hector Plus, Tata Gravitas and Mahindra XUV500. Inside, it’ll come loaded with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with BlueLink connectivity, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof and much more.
