While the electric powertrain is the Tesla Model 3’s USP, it also comes equipped with some mind-boggling features which seem to be inspired by some sci-fi movies. Here’s a YouTube video from the channel of PunjabiBeardos that showcases all the futuristic features of the Tesla Model 3.
The host starts by showcasing the keyless entry & exit function of the Model 3. He taps a card (identical to a debit card) on the driver-side B-pillar to lock and unlock it. Once inside, he shows that the Model 3’s interior that looks bespoke with hardly any buttons. The minimalistic approach is used to an extent that the glove box needs to be opened via the 15-inch touchscreen display. Also, this touchscreen system is so advance, that it shows the route to your destination with all the charging stations which you will come across on your way. If the route is any longer than the range, it automatically curates a different one, where the car can be charged before running out of juice.
To open the door, there are no latches either. Buttons have replaced them. Also, the seats are power-adjustable on Model 3. The roof on the Model 3 is made of a single-piece glass, which helps in carving out more headroom for the rear occupants. It is not a common sight on cars of this size. Unlike conventional IC-engined cars, it gets a frunk too. In simpler words, there’s some storage space under the bonnet of the Model 3. Furthermore, the touchscreen on the Tesla Model 3 doubles up as a climate control module. The Model 3 is available in a total of two range options – Range Plus (423 km) and Long Range (568 km).
