The Mercedes-AMG G63 is a popular luxury vehicle in India. And now if you want a G63 for your wedding but don't want to buy one, you'll be pleased to know, you can rent one instead. Full story below.

The Mercedes G-Class, more commonly known as the G-Wagen, has become a legendary figure in the automotive world.  Initially developed as a military vehicle way back in 1979, the G-Wagen ploughed on for close to 40 years of production without much changes from the original until an all-new model came in 2018. It is known for its exceptional off-roading prowess, rivalling the other legend that is the Land Rover Defender. Nowadays, the Mercedes G-Wagen has a cult following, especially for the AMG G63 version. With India and its love for big weddings, the G63 as the groom’s vehicle is a proper status symbol. Though it is prohibitively expensive to buy one, now you can rent a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG for wedding rentals at reasonable prices.

The image you see above is a part of the lineup of Royal Wedding Car, Bathinda. They are one of the go-to-choices if you want to rent a luxury car for a wedding. They have a varied range, from Audi A4s to Bentley Continental Flying Spurs. And they have just introduced the Mercedes-AMG G63 to their range, which you can choose for your special day. The rent for the AMG G63 is Rs 55,000 per day for a driving range range of 200 kms included in the price. Though the price may seem very expensive, it is much cheaper than buying an AMG G63 outright. If you’re interested in hiring one, you can contact Royal Wedding Car at 9592206461. Apart from the G-Wagen, they also have a limo'ed Chrysler 300C.

The Mercedes G-Class finally got an all-new generation after nearly 40 years. The new one from the outside looks more of an evolution of the older model, and Mercedes says they intended that to not ruin the now legendary looks and shape. Unlike modern SUVs with monocoque frames, the new G-Class still continues with a ladder frame, which gives it much better off-road prowess than most SUVs. The updated ladder frame gives the G-Class better structural rigidity to make it safer, while also giving more room to the interiors. The G-Class still comes with three locking differentials, making it one of the most capable off-road vehicles you can buy currently.

It comes with a 4-litre twin-turbo ‘hot vee’ V8 engine, which incidentally also powers the Mercedes AMG GT-R supercar. The engine in the G63 makes peak power and max torque of 585 PS and 850 Nm, respectively. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The price for this hybrid of absurdity and utter wonder that is the Mercedes-AMG G63? Rs 2.42 crore, ex-showroom.
