New Hyundai Creta comes with an all-new design and features, which has helped it rocket to the top of compact SUV sales. Take a look at how you can add cruise control to your Creta even if it is not the top model.

The Hyundai Creta is currently one of the best selling compact SUVs in India. The segment it competes in one of the fastest-growing and competitive categories in the country, with the likes of the Kia Seltos and the MG Hector as rivals. The second-generation Creta was launched in 2020, coming with a new design, packed to the gills with features and creature comforts, and aggressive pricing. This makes the Hyundai the go-to-buy in the segment. It also has a ridiculous amount of aftermarket customization options with third party brands available to fulfil mostly anything you can dream of. Today we came across this Creta EX model which gets cruise-control fitted via the aftermarket.

The video has been uploaded by Technical bhopal on YouTube. The Hyundai Creta in the video is the EX variant which is getting a few aftermarket parts added. The compact SUV gets an OEM cruise control system retrofitted to it with the controls being added to the steering wheel. After installing the steering wheel back, we can see the cruise control and other new steering mounted controls working for the MID and user settings. We then see the cruise control being used, with the MID informing that is switched on and the driver is not making any throttle inputs and the feature quickly disengages once the brakes are pressed. The driver can also increase the cruise controls speed through the new steering mounted controls. The cruise-control modification works on both the E and EX variant of the new Creta.

Second-Gen Hyundai Creta E Trim Gets Cruise Control Fitted Via The Aftermarket

Prices for the new Hyundai Creta ranges between Rs 9.99 lakh – Rs 17.53 lakh, ex-showroom. It gets 3 engines on offer – 2 petrol and 1 diesel. You get a 1.5-litre petrol making  115 PS and 144 Nm of max power and torque figures while the range-topping 1.4-litre turbo petrol churns out 140 PS and 242 Nm of peak power and torque. Meanwhile, the diesel is a 1.5-litre four-pot which puts out max power and torque figures of 115 PS and 250 Nm respectively. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter auto, and a 7-speed DCT auto exclusive for the turbo-petrol variant.
