New Renault Kwid Accessories Pack Revealed In Official Video

Renault launched the new Kwid hatchback at the price starting from Rs 2.83 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Earlier this month, Renault India launched the updated Kwid in the country at around Rs 2.83 – 4.92 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Kwid hatchback boasts a heavily-refreshed exterior that borrows some design elements from the Renault KZ-E unveiled in China in early 2019. It features a new front fascia with split LED headlamps similar to the Tata Harrier, chrome grille, C-shaped LED taillamps, dual-tone ORVMs, wheel arches claddings, 14-inch multi-spoke wheels, boomerang-like sculpted roof, roof rails, a roof-mounted spoiler, side decals and more.

To make the facelifted hatchback looks more enticing, the French automaker has made a host of exciting accessories available on the model. There are five accessories packages on offer, including ALA Carte, Essential pack, Urban pack, SUV pack along with Chrome pack.

The 2019 Renault Kwid facelift comes with a dual-tone dashboard and generous use of chrome treatments on the inside, complementing the upmarket feel of the model. Customers can choose from the option of a premium orange theme and white fabric seats with sporty striped embossing.

Renault Kwid facelift comes with heavily updated exterior, additional features on its board.

The updated Kwid is kitted out with an illuminated fully-digital instrument panel and an 8-inch touchscreen MediaNav Evolution infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto supports. On the safety front, the new Kwid packs advanced safety features, making it compliant with both side and pedestrian crash test norms. It is available with dual airbags, rear parking sensors, driver and co-driver seatbelt reminder, ABS with EBD, high-speed alert as standard bits. Besides, the driver and passenger side airbags are optional.

The 2019 Renault Kwid is available with a five accessories packs, thus giving the car a more interesting look.

As far as the mechanics go, the Kwid facelift witnesses no change in its heart. It continues to get the power from two petrol engine options, including a 0.8-litre engine and a 1.0-litre unit, making 54 HP and 6 HP of power, respectively. While the 0.8-litre engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 1.0-litre motor is coupled with a 5-speed automated manual transmission. Currently, the Kwid’s engine lineup is compliant with BSIV emission regulations but the upgrade to BSVI norms will be made ahead of April 2020 deadline.

The new 2019 Renault Kwid still stacks up against the likes of Maruti Alto K10, Datsun redi-GO and the newly-launched Maruti S-Presso. A standard 4-year/ 1 lakh kilometre warranty along with roadside assistance is on offer.
