Nissan Magnite is the newest sub-4m compact-SUV on the block. It surely looks stylish and will give a tough competition to its rivals with its sharp and menacing looks. However, it is yet to be launched in the Indian market, and the prices for the Magnite are likely to start from Rs. 5.50 lakh. Moreover, it is one of the few cars in its segment that are available with a black paint scheme which Nissan calls as Onyx Black. Apart from this colour option, there are eight more on offer. But, since carmakers are offering all-black editions of their offering, we thought of the same with the Nissan Magnite. Our in-house rendering specialist – Shoeb R. In the image above, the Magnite looks gorgeous. It dons the Onyx Black paint scheme with a few changes. These subtle changes are capable of transforming its personality to look even sportier. It now gets a red highlight on the front grille as was the case with its concept model. Moreover, there are red streaks on the front bumper, side cladding, ORVM caps, and roof rails. The chrome finish is replaced with Piano-black finishing. All of these changes lend it with an understated yet youthful appeal. While we can’t confirm if Nissan has an all-black edition or a sportier trim of the Magnite in the pipeline, but we can affirm that if they do, such limited editions will attract a lot of buyers.

Nissan offers the Magnite in a total of 9 colour options - Flare Garnet Red with Onyx Black, Tourmaline Brown, Vivid Blue with Strom White, Flare Garnet Red, Pearl White with Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Sandstone Brown, Onyx Black, and Storm White. The Magnite will go on sale with two engine options – 1.0L naturally-aspirated petrol and 1.0L turbo-petrol. The transmission option will include a 5-speed MT and a CVT. It will be a feature-loaded car and will offer the convenience of a 360-degree parking camera, puddle lamps, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and more. Once launched, it will rival the likes of Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza, and Kia Sonet.
