Here’s a price comparison between all-new Nissan Magnite and 2020 Tata Nexon. Nissan Magnite is powered by 1.0-litre petrol and turbo-petrol unit. 

Nissan has finally launched its first-ever sub-4-meter SUV Magnite in the Indian market. The all-new Nissan SUV can be a big threat to its competitors as it is the most affordable car in its segment. In the sub-4-meter SUV segment, it rivals with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. So here’s the price comparison between Nissan Magnite and Tata Nexon.

Tata Nexon is the safest car in its stable as it has scored 5-star rating at the Global NCAP crash test. Comparing the prices of both the SUVs, the all-new Nissan Magnite is offered at starting price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base XE MT trim and goes all the way up to Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec XV Premium 1.0-litre Turbo CVT variant. On the other hand, Tata Nexon has priced between Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) to Rs 12.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

As one can see that the base trim Nissan Magnite is Rs 2 lakh cheaper than the entry-level variant of Tata Nexon. And the price difference between the top-spec trims of both the SUVs is Rs 3.35 lakh. Tata Nexon is much more expensive than the Nissan SUV, but by paying Rs 2-3 lakhs extra, a person will get extra safety, better fit and finish and petrol & diesel engine options. Talking about Nissan Magnite, it derives power from a 1.0-litre petrol and turbo petrol engine. The former develops 71 Bhp of power and 96 Nm of peak torque, while the latter produces power and torque output of 99 Bhp and 160 Nm.

The Magnite will be available with two transmission choices - 5-speed MT and CVT. The CVT gearbox is only offered with the turbo-petrol variant of the SUV. The all-nee Nissan Magnite comes loaded with features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, engine start-stop button, mobile holder, wireless charging pad, steering mounted audio controls, cruise control, fully-digital instrument console and rear armrest with cup holders.
