Recently, we came across a video which shows an old Hyundai Verna that has been modified to look like the new model. Read on to discover.
Being one of the most popular mid-size sedans in India, the Hyundai Verna competes against Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid, Honda City and Maruti Ciaz in the segment. The Hyundai sedan is well-known for its modern appearance and a well-equipped cabin. The Hyundai Verna has recently received a facelift with new BS6-compliant motors. The sedan also has great modification potentialities with many modified units in the country. Below is a video which shows an old Hyundai Verna customized into an all-new one. Firstly, let’s have a look at the video first.
According to the video, the total mod job costs INR 1.14 lakh. The video even shows the car before and after to make the differences more obvious. Noteworthily, all the parts equipped in this car were genuine and not aftermarket. The new Hyundai Verna has the same dimensions as the previous version, which makes the job mod much easier for the owner.
At the beginning of the video, the Hyundai Verna front is shown and it bears a strong resemblance to the 2020 facelifted version. The owner had all the parts in the front replaced at the local Hyundai dealership. The projector headlights have given way to all-LED units with integrated LED DRLs. The grille gets deeper and features smoked chrome. The projector fog lights come with gloss black garnish around. The muscular bumper also gets a new chrome strip.
This 2018 Hyundai Verna has been modified to become a new 2020 version.
On the side profile, there is one thing which might confuse people: the alloy wheels. The vehicle is an SX(O) variant which gets a wide array of features. If the stock alloy rims of this Verna has been replaced with those on the facelifted model, this Verna would look exactly the same as a 2020 version.
