At the moment, Honda Civic is available at the starting price of Rs 18.04 lakh. The top-spec model’s price can go up to Rs 22.45 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in three variants, V, VX and ZX. About the powertrain options, the Civic is offering two engines, a 1.8-litre petrol engine and a 1.6-litre diesel engine. While the former can make 141 PS and 174 Nm, the latter is good for 120 PS and 300 Nm. There are both automatic and manual gearboxes on offer. However, the petrol Honda Civic only gets CVT gearbox. Earlier this year, Skoda has launched the Superb facelift with several minor design updates along with new engine options. Skoda has dropped both two old engines altogether and introduced a new 2.0-litre petrol motor. The new engine is capable of churning out 190 PS and a 320 Nm. There are two drivetrain options for this engine, including a 7-speed DCT and a direct-shift gearbox.

This sedan is now available with two engine options, which are a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel. The petrol engine is capable of making 115PS and 250Nm while the diesel engine is capable of making a maximum power of 128PS and a top torque of 260Nm.
