Here’s a recent YouTube video, where a YouTuber tells why he preferred Tata Harrier over its rivals. It competes with the likes of MG Hector, Jeep Compass, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta.

Tata Harrier is among the popularly known SUVs in the Indian market and was first launched back in 2019. The SUV became quickly popular among the buyers for its muscular looks, robust built quality, features and aggressive price. It rubs shoulders with the likes of MG Hector, Jeep Compass and Kia Seltos. Earlier this year, the carmaker introduced the new BS6-compliant version of the car along with some minor tweaks. Here we have a recent video uploaded by a YouTube channel named as AutoTube India, where the Harrier owner tells his reason for buying Harrier rather than going for Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, MG Hector and Jeep Compass.

The YouTuber starts the video by showing his brand new Tata Harrier Dark Edition. He has opted for XZ variant, which is one lower than the top-spec variant. The Dark Edition Harrier is a bit different from the regular model of the SUV as it gets an all-black treatment. It is not the top-of-the-line variant of the SUV so, it gets grey coloured five-spoke alloy wheels instead of the two-tone diamond-cut ones. All the chrome accents have been removed or either replaced with black accents to go with the black theme of the SUV. It also features a ‘Dark’ badge on the side fender. Inside, the cabin of the car also follows the same dark theme. Elements like the dashboard, steering wheel, seats, door padding all feature a dark colour shade.

The reason why the vlogger preferred Harrier over MG Hector because of its ride and handling. MG Hector is superior then Harrier in terms of features, but the Tata SUV offers better ride quality and handles quite well. On the other hand, the Jeep Compass is a better option, but the vlogger feels that it is a bit overpriced. He also avoided buying Seltos and Creta because of their smaller sizes and smaller powertrain. Tata Harrier power from a 2.0-litre BS6-compliant oil burner that produces power and torque outputs of 170 PS and 350 Nm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
