Here's a video, which was recorded by a Tata Nexon's dashcam. It showcases how alert and attentive should one be while driving a car.

Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere, and by anyone, irrespective of how good a driver you are. At times, people who are great drivers end up being part of mishaps due to negligence of other road users. Hence, it is advised to be attentive and alert while driving a car. Here’s a Youtube video that we came across on the channel of Catherine D, showcasing how a stupid biker ends up crashing into a Tata Nexon without any fault of the driver. Also, the video highlights the importance of being attentive while on the road.

The video was recorded by the dashcam, which was fixed on this Tata Nexon. It can be seen in the video that the accident took place at a national highway around 7:00 AM when a motorcyclist decided to switch lanes without even bothering about the oncoming traffic. All of it happened so quickly that the driver of the Nexon had no chance of avoiding this collision even after braking hard.  Fortunately, the occupants of the Tata Nexon and the bike rider walked out of it without any injuries, whatsoever.

While this accident puts a lot of focus on being alert while driving, it also emphasizes on the importance of ABS and dashcam. The ABS helped the Tata Nexon in stopping without any jiggle or drama, whereas the dashcam’s video served as a proof for the driver to evade legal troubles. Talking of the safety equipment, the Nexon comes loaded with a lot of them as standard fitment across the range. The list includes ABS with EBD, dual-front airbags, corner stability control, seat belts with pre-tensioners, rear parking sensors, hill-hold assist, brake disc wiping and more.
