Indian car buyers love to customise their vehicles. Be it a small hatchback, a giant SUV, or anything in between, we’ve seen plenty of examples of modified cars of all shapes and sizes. Of course, some mod jobs are better than others, performed so immaculately that it ends up winning our hearts. Here, we have one such modification, involving a Tata Hexa.

The mod job you see here has been performed by Motormind, a custom Automotive Design company based in Bengaluru. There are plenty of changes to the design of the car, which we shall list here. Beginning at the front, we see that the front grille has been replaced by a new one, and gets integrated LED DRLs in it. The Tata logo in the stock car has now been replaced by a Motormax logo. The front bumper has also been modified, and features a huge air dam and additional side vents. The headlamps are the same as before, but get new LRD DRLs and LED turn indicators added inside.

Tata Hexa is one of the most capable Tata vehicles ever built and is the flagship in the carmaker’s current line-up. It is the only vehicle in Tata’s range to sport a four-wheel-drive option, and although it is technically an MPV, it has a lot of SUV-inspired styling cues. It is powered by a 2.2-litre, inline-4, turbocharged, ‘VARICOR’ diesel engine. This motor can generate 150 PS and 320 Nm and comes paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Tata Motors will soon be launching the BS6-compliant Hexa in the market soon. The company had earlier showcased the Hexa BS6 at the 2020 Auto Expo, along with the special edition ‘Hexa Safari’.
