In the beginning, the Tata Hexa shows off its brilliant strong performance on the highways. After that, things get a lot more fun as the crossover joins other SUVs to have some fun in the slush. Without any external assistance, the Hexa can be seen clearing most of the obstacles with ease. True, the crossover did find it a bit tough to cross some of the obstacles but, overall, it did manage to tame the slush-filled challenges thorwn at it. 

It's actually a lot of fun watching the Hexa slide around on the muddy and slippery track. True, the Hexa might not be an all-out off-roader but its skills off the beaten tarmac will surely impress you, especially if you take into account that the Hexa is an ARIA-based crossover instead of being a true-blue off-raoder.  The Hexa in the video here is an XT 4x4 variant that used to come equipped with an electronically-controlled Borg-Warner 4x4 system enabling torque-on-demand feature as well as a body-on-frame chassis. Thanks to this robust hardware, this vehicle found going through the challenging conditions to be a cakewalk. .

Powering the Tata Hexa is a BSIV 2.2-litre Varicor 400 engine tuned for a maximum power of 154 bhp and a peak torque of 400 Nm. The engine comes coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission while an optional automatic transmission is offered on the 4z2 configuration.

In the SUV market, the Tata Hexa used to rivl the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta, Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500 and Jeep Compass.
