Suzuki will launch the next-gen Vitara in the Japanese market by the end of this year. In India, the SUV will rival with the likes of Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta.

The Suzuki Vitara was among the top-selling SUVs offered by the carmaker globally. It is also one of those cars from the automaker, which has not yet introduced in the Indian market. Nevertheless, since the launch of first-gen Hyundai Creta in 2015, there were a lot of reports and rumours that Maruti could launch the Vitara in our market, but it hasn’t happened at least till now. An international magazine named as ‘Best Car’ has reported that Suzuki has plans to introduce the next-gen Vitara in the Japanese market in October this year, so we can expect Suzuki to also to launch the 2021 Vitara in India.

The power figures are quite amazing and can make the 2021 Vitara one of the most potent SUVs in its segment. We guess that the carmaker has plans to make the new Vitara sportier than the OG model. The 2021 model is expected to be priced between Rs 10-15 lakh and will be retailed through the company’s premium Nexa dealership network. A few years back, the carmaker introduced the  Grand Vitara in our market, but it was never able to perform well due to the higher price tag.
