The forthcoming MG C-SUV will offer a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine releasing 143 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque, together with a 173 hp/ 350 Nm FCA-sourced 2.0-litre MultiJet II Diesel engine that comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The former is engaged with either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission depending upon the variants.
