Kia Sonet is slated to be launched on September 18 in the country. The sub-4m compact-SUV from the South-Korean carmaker will rival against the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and more. While a lot is already known about the Sonet, the accessories that Kia will offer for the Sonet were still under wraps, until today. Here’s a video that we came across on YouTube, which showcases an accessorized version of the Kia Sonet. Thus, revealing the accessories that Kia will offer for the Sonet to the buyers. This video was uploaded by Ujjawal Saxena on his channel. The Sonet seen in the video is the GTX+ trim of the car.
Since Indians are known to have a deep fascination for chrome, Kia is offering a lot of chrome embellishments for the Sonet. To start with, it gets chrome garnishing for the headlamps, fog lamp housings, door handles, ORVMs, and rear reflectors. Also, Kia is offering piano-black bumper protectors, which actually serve the purpose. Smoked door visors are a part of the list as well. Moving on the inside, 3D rubberized mats with Sonet branding are available for the footwell and the boot space. Also, Creta-like headrest cushions are on offer for the rear seats. While this particular example was loaded with these many accessories only, we are assuming that Kia will offer a lot more goodies when Sonet goes on sale.
Taking a look at the features, Sonet comes loaded to the gills. It gets the biggest touchscreen infotainment unit in its segment, which measures at 10.25 inches. Furthermore, it gets an all-digital instrument cluster, air-purifier, automatic climate control, UVO Connect with 57 connected car features, electric sunroof, mood lighting, 7-speaker Bose sound system, cruise control, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging cradle, and more.

It will come mated to a 5-speed MT only. Next option on the list will be a 1.0L turbo-petrol motor, which will put out a max output of 120 PS/172 Nm. It will be offered with 2 transmission options – 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT. The last and the biggest engine on the list is a 1.5L oil burner. It will be offered in 2 states of tunes – 100 PS/240 Nm and 115 PS/250 Nm. While the former will come paired to a 6-speed MT, the latter will come coupled to a 6-speed AT.
