This Kia Sonet gets PPF and Gloss Black Roof

Korean automaker Kia has recently launched its all-new sub-4-meter SUV named as Sonet in the Indian market. The Kia SUV is getting great response from the potential buyers around the country. In its segment, it competes with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon. Here are a few images of the car, which shows that people has also started getting PPF treatment for the brand new Kia Sonet. 

These pictures have been shared on a Facebook group named as Kia Sonet Club India by a user Praveen Kumar Muddasani. As one can see in the images that the Kia Sonet looks quite shiny because of the PPF (Paint Protection Film). PPF is basically a lamination film for your car. It saves the original paint of the vehicle from direct sunlight and acid rain. Moreover, it also saves the body of the car from minor dents and scratches. This Kia Sonet also gets gloss black film on its roof, which makes the SUV look quite elegant. The overall cost of the modification is not known, but getting PPF film for a car is not an expensive affair. Moreover, it saves the exterior parts and original paint of the vehicle.

Talking about Kia Sonet, it derives power from 1.2-litre gasoline and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former puts out 83 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque, while the latter is offered in two states of tune and it produces 110/115 PS and 240/250 Nm of torque. The petrol mill comes coupled to a 5-speed MT and the diesel motor comes mated with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed MT. Kia Sonet is also offered with a potent 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit, which is capable of shredding out power and torque outputs of 120 PS and 172 Nm. Transmission duties are done by a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed DCT.
