Maruti Vitara Brezza Gets Purposeful Mods & Massive Alloy Wheels [VIDEO]

The Vitara nameplate finally found widespread success in the Indian Auto market after Maruti introduced the Vitara Brezza compact SUV. While the old models were placed in the premium SUV segment, consumers didn’t buy it much as they didn’t see Maruti as a premium automaker. The Vitara Brezza plays to India’s largest automaker’s strengths, instead. It was one of the first Compact SUVs to enter the Indian auto market when it was launched in 2016. It has been one of the best selling vehicles in a very competitive segment. It remains one of the best all-round choices, even though it faces even stiffer competition with the likes of the Kia Sonet and Nissan Magnite launching in 2020. Today we have got this Vitara Brezza which gets some off-road-ready modifications.

The video has been uploaded by Born To Ride on YouTube, in which we see the vlogger’s personal Maruti Vitara Brezza getting some aftermarket modifications from Big Daddy Modifiers. The compact SUV gets an all-new heavy-duty metal bumper which replaces the stock one. There’s a new metal sump guard to make sure, off-roading doesn’t rupture any internals. If this Vitara Brezza comes across water crossings, it doesn’t have to worry much, as it gets a new snorkel for extra wading depth. The SUV also gets a new set of alloys. The wheels are 18-inch multi-spoke units, finished in grey and are shod with higher-profile rubber to keep the ride quality close to stock. Overall, this is a set of rare modifications as not many Vitara Brezza owners go for full off-road spec modifications. It is important to point out that the Vitara Brezza is front-wheel-drive only, unlike its predecessors which had full-time four-wheel-drive.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, which makes peak power and torque figures of 105 PS and 138 Nm, respectively. You can pair it with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Prices for the Vitara Brezza start from Rs 7.34 lakh for the bas-spec LXI trim and goes up to Rs 11.40 lakh for the ZXI+ trim with the automatic gearbox.
