Check out this extremely luxurious Maruti Baleno with custom leather interior upholstery and a sunroof.

At IndianAuto, we have covered plenty of modified cars. While most of these customisations were limited to the exterior of the car or performance upgrades, we especially love the ones that improve the luxury of the cabin, i.e., interior mod jobs. Here, we have a Maruti Baleno that has been customised with beautiful-looking and luxurious interiors.

The car we see here has been modified by RED-D Customs, a custom car garage based in Pune. The interior of the car now features leather seats in the front as well as the rear. The leather is dull red in colour, and the interior panels feature the same leather finish. The dashboard in dual-tone in colour, with the top portion being black and the bottom of it being red like the rest of the interior. The steering wheel is a sporty-looking leather-wrapped unit. The ceiling, however, gets beige treatment. It also features a sunroof, which elevates the premium feel of the cabin even more.

The exterior of the car as a few changes as well. There is a tiny spoiler mounted on top of the boot lid with carbon fibre finish. Also, the chrome elements have been replaced by piano black elements, which look sportier against the white exterior paint. The rest of the car, however, remains in stock condition. This particular model is an older Maruti Baleno, which was available with a petrol and a diesel engine option. The former was a 1.2-litre, inline-4, naturally aspirated motor, capable of generating 83 PS and 113 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. This powerplant was also available in a ‘Dualjet’ version with a mild-hybrid system, with a slightly higher power output of 90 PS. The latter was a 1.3-litre, inline-4, turbocharged engine, which could belt out 75 PS and 200 Nm.

With the BS6 update, Maruti ended production of the diesel engines. Thus the 1.2-litre petrol motor is the only engine available now with the Baleno. The mild-hybrid version is also available. Power and torque figures remain identical to the BS4 model. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a CVT.
