This Modified Toyota Innova Crysta From Indonesia is Too Hot to Handle

Toyota Innova Crysta facelift has just been launched in the country. The Japanese MPV is the best-selling car in its segment and has been holding the top position against the competition since long. The Innova Crysta is loved for its people-hauling capabilities. It can seat up to seven occupants, and it can take them from point A to point B in utmost comfort, irrespective of the terrain and distance of travel. Moreover, the Innova Crysta is renowned for its bullet-proof reliability. However, we recently came across a pre-facelift Toyota Innova Crysta via a social media platform, which has been modified to look dramatically gorgeous. Talking of the modifications, they are extensive. Starting from the exterior first, it gets a custom body kit along with 19-inch rims. Also, the stock headlamps are replaced with a set of splendid-looking aftermarket units. Together, these changes help it stand out from the crowd and grab a lot of attention. While the exterior mods have upped the ante, the owner has managed to follow the suit under the hood as well.

This modified Toyota Innova Crysta gets titanium intake piping and K&N stock replacement filter to inhale freely while the stock exhaust has been replaced with a full system exhaust for the exhaling duties. Moreover, the turbocharger is upgraded with a double billet wastegate. Also, to control the boost, it gets a Greddy Profed boost controller. For the braking duties, the OEM callipers are swapped for the Brembo 4-pot units.

Toyota Innova Crysta is on sale in the country with a 2.4L turbo-diesel engine and a 2.7L NA petrol motor. The oil burner is capable of putting out a rated power output of 150 PS and peak torque of 360 Nm. The petrol motor, on the other hand, can produce a peak power output of 166 PS and 245 Nm of peak torque. For the transmission options, one can choose between a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic transmission. With a starting price of Rs. 16.26 lakh, the Innova Crysta rivals the likes of MG Hector Plus, Mahindra Marazzo and more.
